A pair of ospreys have built their nest on top of one of the tallest rides on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.

It is a tricky situation that might force the owners of Casino Pier to decide whether to keep the Sky Coaster ride closed during the nesting season or apply for a permit from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to move the nest.

While the closure of the ride could cause a loss of revenue for the pier operators, News 12’s Brian Donohue summons the true spirit of the Boardwalk and suggests that maybe the nest could become an attraction in itself.
