The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs is hoping to make military servicemen and women overseas feel more at home by sending them filled Christmas stockings.

Joyce Fredericks and her son are bringing joy overseas. The New Jersey Federation of Women's Clubs, as well as several volunteers, filled over 1,700 stocking with gifts for the troops.

The volunteers say it will make a huge difference to the men and women serving our country.

The filled stockings are part of a program called "Boatsie’s Boxes."
