Officials say a strange odor caused a Spirit Airlines flight to make an emergency landing over the weekend at Atlantic City International Airport, causing a brief closure of the airport.
According to officials, Flight 341 from Atlantic City to Tampa, Florida, returned to the gate Saturday following reports of the unusual odor in the cabin.
The airfield was closed for about 15 minutes, and the flight took off a few hours later.
No injuries were reported.
Officials have not said what caused the smell.
