Officials say at least five people have died at the Alameda Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Perth Amboy from COVID-19.
According to officials, there are 15 positive cases of the coronavirus at the facility, and more than a dozen other cases are still pending.

In a statement on their website, facility managers say all residents infected, or suspected of being infected, are quarantined.

Managers also say everyone who enters the building is given a mask, gown and face shield for protection.
