The dogs were found Monday alone in the home on Mattison Avenue.
According to officials, all but one was living inside of a hot garage with no access to food or water, and only one small window left open. The dogs were taken to a pet hospital for treatment.
Officials say one of the puppies died. The rest are now being cared for by the Monmouth County SPCA.
Anyone with information on the owner or owners of the dogs is urged to contact the Monmouth County Animal Cruelty Hotline at (877) 898-7297.
