Officials in New York say high winds may have caused a United Airlines plane to hit a jet bridge at Buffalo Niagara International Airport as it was departing for Newark.

Officials in New York say high winds may have caused a United Airlines plane to hit a jet bridge at Buffalo Niagara International Airport as it was departing for Newark.
According to an airport spokeswoman, none of the 158 people on board Flight 1442 were hurt Wednesday morning.
Winds of nearly 60 mph had been recorded earlier in the day.
As much as five inches of snow fell Tuesday in some parts of the state.
