Officials say an Atlantic County man was arrested Friday for spending thousands of dollars accidently deposited into his account.

Officials say an Atlantic County man was arrested Friday for spending thousands of dollars accidently deposited into his account.
In March 2023, bank employees deposited $100,000 into 37-year-old Laquay Dubose's bank account by mistake, according to officials. The employees realized their error, withdrew the money and closed the account which left DuBose over $35,000 in debt.
Dubose is charged with theft.
