Officers and decedent identified in fatal police-involved shooting in Hamilton Township

The names of the two officers and the decedent involved in a Hamilton Township shooting earlier this month have been released to the public.
Officers Derek Fiabane and Paul Piromalli shot and killed 44-year-old Vincent Correa during a domestic violence call on March 8, according to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.
Police say Correa fired a rifle at the officers, hitting one and sending him to the hospital.
The rifle and an additional handgun were recovered from Correa.
The Attorney General’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
