A Toms River police officer has pled guilty after breaking into a home and attacking two people.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Rebecca Sayegh pled guilty to burglary, criminal mischief, and simple assault.
The incident happened in April when she broke into a Berkeley Township home and reportedly attacked her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
Sayegh was off duty at the time. As part of the plea deal, she agreed to give up her job as an officer.
