Ocean Grove celebrated the Fourth of July with its annual parade.
Thousands walked in the parade, and many others watched from the sidelines Tuesday.
Revelers dressed in red, white and blue provided a colorful backdrop to the Victorian homes.
Dancers, marching bands and a kazoo club proudly made their way through the historic town, led by fire engines.
The Ocean Grove Fourth of July parade is billed as the finest in the nation.
"We try and honor the veterans from the various wars, and I think that's wonderful, so we are happy to be here with our friends and enjoying this," said World War II veteran and parade attendee Michael Palerno.
After the parade, many revelers said they would head to the beach in anticipation of the many firework displays taking place up and down the Jersey Shore.
