Four people were arrested during a drug distribution raid – the result of a two-month probe that targeted three homes in Ocean County.
Prosecutors say 33-year-old Orthis Allen, of Bayville, Lauren Torres and Anthony Martinez, both 23 and of Toms River, and 33-year-old Ashley Banks, of Brick, were arrested. They face charges for distributing ecstasy, cocaine and heroin/fentanyl.
Prosecutors say detectives used mobile surveillance on all three residences. According to officials, law enforcement seized 150 ecstasy pills and 41 grams of cocaine from the Brick Township residence.
A search warrant was issued for the Toms River residence. Prosecutors say 100 wax folds of heroin/fentanyl, 15 ecstasy pills, a digital scale and two loaded 9mm firearms and one with a high-capacity magazine were seized.
Officials say there was nothing of evidentiary value at the South Toms River address.
Prosecutors say Torres and Martinez were at the Toms River residence at the time of the search warrant and received a summons pending a court appearance at Ocean County Superior Court. Banks also received a summons pending a first court appearance. Allen is being held in Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
