North Brunswick is naming a street after a local veteran.
Marcrie Way will be at the corner of Omaha and Joseph, and named after Nicholas Marcrie, who served in the Korean War and lived on Omaha for more than 50 years.
His widow, Rene Marcrie, accepted the town’s proclamation.
Marcrie died last year.
Rene Marcrie said, “He didn’t speak too much about it, but it was something he was proud of, oh, it’s just great to be able to see it, and look at it, and think about him all the time.”
Macrie left behind four kids and four grandkids.
The town has done this for 75 veterans so far.
