A Bergen County community was named among the top 10 best places to live in the United States by Money Magazine.
North Arlington ranked No. 8 on the top 100 places to live in the U.S. based on cost of living, crime, education and proximity to a variety of amenities. North Arlington is the only New Jersey town to rank in the top 10.
North Arlington residents told News 12 New Jersey that they are proud of the distinction.
“It’s a nice, small community and everybody looks out for each other,” said one resident. “We’re very happy here.”
Other New Jersey towns on the list include Saddle Brook at No. 24, Parsippany-Troy Hills at No. 33 and Clifton at No. 36.
Fishers, Indiana, was ranked No. 1 by the magazine.
