A man was found with three handguns and two rifles while on an Amtrak train in Trenton, according to New Jersey Transit Police.

They say they were notified around 3:00 p.m. about an unattended bag in Newark Penn Station. Police say they found a handgun and a loaded rifle in the bag.

The train was stopped in Trenton, and the individual who was placed in custody after resisting arrest. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the suspect was in possession of three handguns and two rifles. Police say a K9 Unit swept and cleared the train that was destined for Virginia.

Train service has since resumed.
