New Jersey Transit officials say that the agency will be offering train and bus service to MetLife Stadium this weekend for a concert featuring the popular Korean pop band BTS – but officials say that concertgoers should expect large crowds and some delays.

“Fans planning to attend concerts…can ‘get there safely and securely by using NJ Transit’s special Meadowlands rail shuttle and bus service,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

But NJ Transit warns that the rail line can only move 7,500 people per hour and due to the volume of people expected to attend the show, there will be wait times.

“Customers may be subject to up to wait times of two or more hours to board trains from MetLife Stadium to Secaucus,” the spokesperson said.

The concerts on May 18 and 19 are expected to draw thousands.

NJ Transit is trying to prevent a repeat of April’s WrestleMania fiasco where fans waited in the rain for hours for trains and buses due to the event running late.
