As the Federal Reserve slashed a keyinterest rate by three-fourths of a percentage point Tuesday, Garden State residents weighed in with their thoughts on the economy.The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has predicted that New Jersey's economy will likely grow slowly through next fall. Residents that spoke with News 12 New Jersey admitted that things are getting tough for them.One woman said she is starting to cut back due to the current economy. Another resident said things aren't good, but he is hopeful that the government does the right steps to make sure people are able to weather the storm.
