Residents are cleaning up Tuesday after Bergen County was hit with wacky, winter weather Monday night.
Piles of hail covered streets and driveways around the county, just days before the official start of summer.
The hail appeared to sweep the roads like waves of soapy water. In some places it piled up nearly a foot deep.
Residents also say their gardens suffered from the storm, destroying vegetables and flowers they planted for the summer.
The storm created flooding situations in streets and some basements in the area.
