New Jersey drivers are seeing some relief at the gas pump as prices lower slightly after news of rising oil inventories.
A Sayreville Exxon station saw long lines Saturday, but customers said it was worth the wait because the station offered the cheapest gas around, $2.74 a gallon.
Others, however, say the slight roll back in cost is not enough. One customer said he thought the government should subsidize gas prices because high prices are bad for the middle class.
Another customer said she stopped buying extravagant big-ticket items and has cut out trips to the mall because of the high gas prices.
