The New Jersey Department of Education is awarding $9.6 million in grants to help students with disabilities transition from school to adult life.
The money is for programs that help students who are 18 to 21. It's set to get work-based learning, emphasizing communication and daily living skills.
Special services school districts in seven counties will be able to use the money starting in June.
