Forecasters say the thunderstorms headed for New Jersey Thursday should help break the high temperatures.
Wednesday?s storms didn?t do much to cool down the Garden State. But residents did see a lot of lightning, damaging winds and rain. Meteorologists say the storms now headed in New Jersey?s direction could cause flash flooding.
Meanwhile, there is a heat warning in effect for much of the Garden State. Forecasters say it could feel like 90 to 95 degrees outside.
Residents should do all they can to keep cool and prepare for the wicked weather.
