NFL star and New Canaan native Zach Allen were in town at the Elm Restaurant.
The former Ram teamed up with former teammate and lifelong friend Alex LaPolice to help raise money for Team IMPACT.
"It's such a great cause and the amount of work he's putting in for it and all the support he's done for it… to be able to help out in a small way like this, you definitely have to take advantage," Allen said.
LaPolice is running this year's Boston Marathon for charity.
"There's thousands if not millions of kids that could benefit from something like team impact and they really just lack the exposure to those children and those collegiate sports teams," LaPolice said.
