Newark official: 5 men stabbed in Ironbound neighborhood
Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé says one man was taken into custody.

Five men were hospitalized following a stabbing over the weekend in Newark, according to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé.
Fragé says Newark police were called to the 100 block of Prospect Street in the Ironbound section Sunday around 5:30 p.m. for a report of multiple people stabbed.
The victims were transported to University Hospital, and each is reportedly in stable condition.
One man was taken into custody, Fragé says.
It's not clear what led up to the attack. The incident remains under investigation.
