A Newark man has been convicted of robbing a poker player at an Atlantic City casino.
Officials say the man befriended the victim after seeing him win $20,000.
Prosecutors say Robert Reed hit the victim on the head with a wine bottle and took the cash outside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in March 2023.
Reed is due back in court for sentencing in July.
