Security wait times are steady at about 15 minutes this morning at all gates in Terminal A at Newark‑Liberty International Airport.
The short waits come despite a partial government shutdown that began on Feb. 14, leaving TSA employees working without pay.
Since the shutdown started, many workers have quit and call‑outs have more than doubled nationwide.
Employees in Terminal A say crowds often grow heavier at night, especially during the busy spring break period.
