New Jersey welcomes first babies of 2022

Hospitals across New Jersey were busy in the first few hours of 2022 welcoming the first babies of the new year.

Hospitals across New Jersey were busy in the first few hours of 2022 welcoming the first babies of the new year.
Zayden Sire was born at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center just after 12:30 a.m. He was supposed to arrive in a couple of weeks, but just couldn’t wait to ring in the new year.
Varnika Gorre, of Edison, was born at Saint Peter’s University Hospital at 2:45 a.m. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 16 ounces.
A little more than an hour later, at 4 a.m., little Khelani was born at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Rounding out the pack was Ezra, of Bergenfield. He was born at 4:30 a.m. at Holy Name.
