A winter blast hit New Jersey Tuesday before the evening's drive, making for a messy commute.
A mixed bag of precipitation hit the state, with rain, sleet, ice, snow and hail each falling across the region.
Several accidents were reported on the state's roadways due to the conditions. New Jersey state police responded to at least two accidents on the Garden State Parkway.
