Residents throughout New Jersey geared up Sunday for a storm that could bring 3 to 9 inches of snow to the area.
The temperatures dropped during the day and rain started to fall during the evening. Forecasters say the rain is expected to turn into snow overnight and cover most of the Garden State.
The Morris County Public Works Department says it is ready for anything. While residents spent the day shopping for the basic necessities. The roads are expected to be dangerous throughout the night and morning commute.
So far, 10 counties are under a heavy snow warning Sunday night.
