First responders made some very special deliveries this week for local foster children.
The New Jersey Police Benevolent Association gathered thousands of toys before stuffing them into police trucks in Edison Tuesday.
From there the holiday caravan flew across the state to Princeton, where an organization known as Embrella will sort and distribute the donations.
Embrella is a nonprofit that serves local children and families in the child welfare community.
Michaela Murray says her group will distribute the donations to some 3,2000 children across the state who "are going to have a bit more normalcy, a bit of joy and a big smile on their face because of all of these toys.
