No party – all business. A New Jersey native is competing in the USA Mullet Championship.
David Houtz is a Roxbury native who now lives in Tennessee. He ranked 66th in the competition last year, but he is now in the top 25.
Houtz reached out to News 12 New Jersey hoping to spread the word about his competition to help him get votes.
“I was impressed by my close friend Ed’s mullet, so he decided to cut my mullet in. I play disc golf, and one round someone yelled “Terry!” Toward me, not sure why, but from then on, my mullet was always known as Terry,” Houtz wrote.
Voting begins on Oct. 9 and lasts through the 14th.
