A Vineland man has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for threatening to detonate bombs at a cathedral in Washington, D.C.
Court documents say 42-year-old Louis Geri set up a tent outside the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle during the cathedral's annual Red Mass last year, which marks the start of the Supreme Court term.
Authorities said Geri possessed more than 100 homemade bombs.
Investigators also said he carried a nine-page list of demands that included cash, a flight to Japan and a demand that Arizona be removed from the United States and declared a foreign enemy.
