The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says the Jones Road Wildfire burning in Ocean & Lacey townships has burned 15,300 acres and is 60% contained.
There are still four structures threatened by the fire, but all evacuations are lifted for the approximately 5,000 residents who evacuated on Tuesday.
One commercial building was destroyed along with multiple outbuildings and vehicles. A complete damage assessment is underway.
Josephy Kling, 19,of Waretown has been charged with aggravated arson and arson in connection with the wildfire. The investigation is ongoing.
