Franklinville Volunteer Fire Company says a dog was rescued last week after getting stuck in a tire rim at home.
Crews from the Franklinville Volunteer Fire company and Franklin Township police responded to assist the dog on Thursday.
Fire officials say they initially tried using soap and water to free Daisy, but it didn't work. Lt. Brandon Volpe, along with the help of first responders on the scene, used a plasma cutter to free Daisy from the tire rim.
Fortunately, fire officials say Daisy was not injured and is doing well.
