4h agoNew Jersey City University is planning to lay off 30 tenured professors and remove more than a third of its academic programs due to a lack of funds.
The school is terminating 48 undergraduate majors, 24 minors and 28 graduate programs. Nineteen non-tenured faculty members will also be impacted.
The programs are scheduled to close at the end of this academic year.
