New Jersey residents will soon need a REAL ID if they wish to travel by plane.
As the 2023 deadline approaches, the state Motor Vehicle Commission’s Mobile Unit will be out in Edison for people to sign up.

The Mobile Unit will be located at the Edison Municipal Building – 100 Municipal Blvd. – on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Mobile Unit will offer assistance with REAL ID, driver’s licenses, registrations and more.
There is no need to sign up, but it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
