Storm Watch Team meteorologist Michele Powers says she's tracking a little bit of weekend rain that could impact areas along the coast.
NEW: Temperatures will be slightly above normal with highs in the middle 40s. Sunday could almost be a repeat performance, but a storm will develop and pass to our south.
NEXT: Tracking a storm late Sunday and Monday. This may come just close enough that some of us see rain. Areas south and east of I-195 have the greatest potential of seeing some rain. The winds will kick in and turn onshore Sunday afternoon. The strongest winds are likely along the SE coastline. There could also be some tidal flooding.
SATURDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures dip a little. Daytime highs around 44 degrees. Overnight lows around 32.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy skies. A coastal storm is possible that could bring rough surf to the Jersey Shore and a little bit of flooding. Daytime highs around 45 degrees. Overnight lows around 35.
COMING UP: Temperatures warm up into the 50s. A mix of sun and clouds is expected.
