A fire erupted Tuesday at a public storage facility in Hamilton Township.
Multiple fire departments responded to a fire at a public storage facility in Hamilton.
The fire at the Quaker Bridge Road facility destroyed the roof. Officials say the fire began around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and was first reported as a trash fire.
“When we got here, the police department reported it was actually the storage units that were on fire. First arriving companies were met a lot of heavy fire,” says Fire Chief Christopher Tozzi.
Tozzi says firefighters were able to get the fire under control rather quickly and put out the flames.
No injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear what sparked the fire.
