The state liquor authority has revoked the liquor license of a Bronx nightclub that residents say should close.
Morris Park neighbors have been working with Sen. Jeffrey Klein for more than a year to shut down Déjà Vu, a business that was supposed to be a family restaurant. Joe Thompson, the president of Community Board 11, says the nightclub has become a hot-spot for crime.
Déjà Vu owner Robert Karagi says the Morris Park community wants his business closed because he's one of the only Albanian owners to cater to Spanish-speaking customers.
If Karagi serves alcohol without a license, he could face a $1,200 fine or prison time.
