Morris County Freeholders hold annual Memorial Day event

The Morris County Freeholders held their annual Memorial Day event Wednesday honoring the nation’s military members who died in the line of duty.
Four navy sailors who died on board the USS Juneau in World War II were among those honored at the ceremony. The ship was only recently found.
Congress made Memorial Day a national holiday in 1889. It originally started as Decoration Day after the Civil War, where over 600,000 American soldiers were killed.
