Morris and Essex Line, Gladstone Branch rail service resumes following fallen tree
New Jersey Transit rail service on the Morris and Essex Line and Gladstone Branch has resumed in both directions between Maplewood and Summit after a tree fell on the tracks near Short Hills.
NJ Transit says to expect residual delays.
NJ Transit says that rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by PATH at Hoboken, Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street. Cross-honoring is also in effect for NJ Transit and private carrier buses.
Severe weather tore through New Jersey Tuesday evening, causing damage.
More information about transit delays can be found on NJ Transit’s website.
