U.S. authorities have seized more than $4 million in fake NFL merchandise and Super Bowl souvenirs.
The seizure was part of an international enforcement targeting stores, flea markets, street vendors and even websites that sell counterfeit jerseys, jackets and baseball caps.
Agents from New Jersey along with Homeland Security Investigations netted $400,000 worth of counterfeits in just the past week.
Homeland Security investigators advise that if you are buying any NFL gear online to take a close look at the website. Authorities say if words are spelled wrong or grammar is off - you are probably buying a fake.
