Police say a man is trolling Montclair trying to lure girls as young as eight into his vehicle.

According to authorities, a man in his 40s with gray or blonde hair has approaching the young girls. The suspect's description matches at least three instances this month, and police say details given by the children are similar in each case.

The first incident occurred March 7, when a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were offered $20 by a man if he could drive them to school. Three weeks later about half a dozen teenagers were propositioned near Nishuane School with the same offer. Most recently, an 8-year-old and 11-year-old were approached on Sunday near Bloomfield Avenue.
