Monmouth University’s men basketball team season opener canceled due to positive COVID-19 test
The Monmouth University men’s basketball team has paused all team activities following a positive COVID-19 test result from the program’s Tier One members. The team will enter a 14-day quarantine.

activities following a positive COVID-19 test result from the program’s Tier
One members. The team will enter a 14-day quarantine.
Tier One members include student-athletes, coaches, and support
staff. The test result came from the program’s regularly scheduled
testing.
As a result, Wednesday night’s scheduled game against Hofstra has been
canceled. Future contests against Maryland on Dec. 1 and Saint Francis
Brooklyn on Dec. 4 have also been canceled.
