The town of Keyport has shut down its waterfront after a large crowd gathered over the weekend, according to a Facebook post on the police department’s page.

Police say the large crowd gathered Saturday night at the borough's waterfront.

All parking lots are now closed -- all parks were already closed.

Borough leaders are asking people to keep a safe distance if out and about.
