A mother and her child died after a fire broke out at their home early Friday morning in Hazlet.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says they do not believe the fire is suspicious.
The fire started just after midnight.
The woman and the child were trapped inside and were later taken to the hospital, according to the county sheriff.
A firefighter was also injured.
A GoFundMe page was set up on Saturday to help the surviving family members.
The organizer said Jacqueline Montanaro was trying to save her daughter Madelyn from the fire.
They are survived by Montanaro's husband, Will, and their daughter, Elena.
As of Saturday night, the GoFundMe page had raised over $100,000.
