An Englewood nightclub manager reported missing last month is believed to be dead.
Jennifer Londono, 31, is the manager of the Luna Lounge in Englewood, which celebrated its grand opening last month. She was reported missing June 25.
A headless, legless body was found June 27 in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The NYPD said the body had a distinct tattoo and hoped that the public could help identify it.
Londono’s friends and family say that the tattoo looked like one that she had.
Two days after the torso washed up in Brooklyn, a leg washed up along the Hudson River near 79th Street in Manhattan.
Friends and loved ones have been gathering at Luna Lounge to pay tribute to Londono. Candles, photographs and flowers have been left in front of the club.
The NYPD says that it is taking DNA samples from Londono’s family members in an effort to positively identify the body as Londono.
The club will remain closed for the time being.
