Authorities say the second of two bodies found in the Raritan River late yesterday afternoon is that of a missing 11-year-old boy from New Brunswick.
Devine Nicholas' body was found around 6 p.m. in the Raritan River. That came about three hours after the body of his friend, 10-year-old Francisco Perera, was found near the base of the Route 27 bridge in nearby Highland Park.
The boys' mothers say they were last seen Sunday night at their homes.
Authorities would not comment on a possible cause of death for the pair, citing the ongoing investigation. Autopsies will be performed on the boys.
