Mayor: Deputy fire chief suspended indefinitely for allegedly driving drunk
The mayor of Montvale says the town deputy fire chief will be suspended indefinitely after allegedly driving drunk.
According to police, Charles Lydon crashed his department-issued SUV Saturday night into a tree in New York.
Police say his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
The Montvale Fire Department Facebook page says Lydon became deputy chief earlier this year.
He was not injured in the crash.
