A massive tree trapped six cars in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Spring Lake Tuesday.

All six cars sustained damage. No injuries were reported.

A fence was also damaged when the tree was completely uprooted.

In other areas of Spring Lake, there were downed power lines littering the streets and widespread power outages.

Farther north in Sea Bright, there was no flooding but strong wind gusts damaged outdoor areas that restaurants had set up.

At Tommy's Tavern, large tents came down. And at Alice's Kitchen, employees scrambled to bring in outdoor furniture.

In Middletown, trees blocked traffic on main roads. Side streets saw closures, debris and power outages.
