It was marathon day Sunday in Jersey City with thousands of runners zeroed in on the finish line.
Race director Steve Lipski said he wanted everyone to keep moving and running to stay healthy and stay a part of the great community.
"We want to make this not only the premier race for New Jersey, but we also want to make it the longest, best most inclusive block party the state of New Jersey ever had," Lipski said.
Thirty-eight states and 28 countries were represented at the 26.2-mile race with more than 6,000 participants.
Officials said the race this year was really special because there was a non-binary category.
They said there was equal prize money given out across all the categories.
