Medical manufacturing company Maquet Cardiovascular is expanding its Passaic County headquarters, moving 350 jobs from Puerto Rico to New Jersey.
Maquet has already filled more than 100 positions. The company wants to hire at least 200 more over the next year to work in engineering, finance, textiles and manufacturing.
"Our roots are really from Paterson," says president and CEO Christian Keller.
